I put the clips in my Life Editor planner by Sage Grayson. Fun planning with my husbands kitty Soren. I found extra large and/or thick puffy stickers worked best. Front and back of paperclips on cards stock. I have errasable pens on the left side here. Webster color crush pen holder with gold tassel added. My Sharpie Flair felt pens, a rainbow of fun!

This book is even better than I expected. I can see why it is so popular and highly recommended among lettering professionals. I got it at Amazon for about $20. It covers a little bit of everything from calligraphy to chalk work, there are blank pages for practice, lots of tips and even crafts you can do step by step. Great book!
I love this book! Better than a Moleskine and Leuchtturm 1917 and only around $10.00!
• With 25 percent heavier paper stock than Moleskine brand notebooks, bleed-through is a thing of the past. • Durable hardcover looks great and resists scuff marks and scratches. • Notebook is the classic A5 size (21.0 cm x 14.8 cm, 5-1/2 inches x 8 inches).... • 192 grid-lined pages. • Elastic band attached to back cover keeps journal closed. • Ribbon bookmark keeps your place. • 100-gsm acid-free/archival paper preserves your work. • Binding lies flat for ease of use. POSSIBLY MY FAVOURITE THING! • Inside back cover pocket holds notes, receipts, business cards, etc. Always create. Never compromise. Our iconic, high-performing Essentials notebooks inspire expression and fuel creativity. You'll find this sleek design -- in understated black with grid-lined pages -- indispensable, whether you use it for note-taking, jotting down ideas, or writing the next great novel. #bulletjournal Purchased from Amazon $11.18 but they are $10.65 today on Amazon.ca This gorgeous boxed adhesive kit for my planner peeps! I paid $15.69 (which is insane, it dropped nearly half price) and now it's only $12 Canadian! free s/h Amazon.ca
"Xyron teamed with Teresa Collins to design this amazing combination of adhesive items. You'll fall in love the moment you flip open the pink reusable box with a magnetic closure. Inside you'll find a special pink mini X sticker maker. Immediately you'll be able to add edge to edge adhesive to any flat item up to 1-Inch wide. This is perfect for those intricate die cut letters and other small embellishments. The kit also contains one 29-Foot long roll of 1/4-Inch double sided tape in a convenient dispenser. Premium foam squares allow you to add depth to your projects quickly and easily. There is also a disposable tape runner and Teresa Collins Clear Hold Adhesive in a handy little bottle. This unique adhesive dries clear with a strong hold. This kit contains all the adhesive you'll need for creating gorgeous cards, scrapbook pages, school projects, decorative mixed media projects and so much more. When the adhesive is finally used up, you'll find a myriad of uses for the beautiful, sturdy box. Additionally, the kit also contains a Xyron adhesive eraser, which quickly and cleanly removes any unwanted adhesive from your projects. You'll enjoy trying all the different adhesives and the box keeps them all within reach and easy to bring with when you head out to craft with friends." Amazon ad description. These Frixion errasable pens are awesome. Clean "eraser" is a rubbery end that uses heat/friction to erase cleanly. Love them! 2 pack on the right I consider a thick ink, it is gel and rolls really easy. 07 Fine by Pilot FriXion ball erasable ink. Inexpensive, 2/$5
On the left is 05 Extra-Fine needle point is truly a fine fine line, great for small writing and clear writing. The almost delicate end doesn't roll like the ball pen, but I like how I can squeeze stuff in with the fine writing lines. 4 pack of color, again not expensive, Walmart. Bonus they are re-fillable! Good for your pocket book and the environment. The middle pens are Papermate Ink Joy and they are really smooth rolling, so comfortable to use. 0.7mm Fine point pens with ultra smooth ink: again the tiny tip seems fragile, not the same as a "regular" pen, but okay. They have a comfort grip. Assorted colors, not expensive. The pretty peach makeup bag I am using as a pen case; in faux leather by Avon regular $20 I got it on sale for $12.00. I like that it is embossed with a inspirational note. Day 5 #hairandlifeplan Quality tools
Use natural boar bristle brushes and wide tooth combs so you do not add additional stress on the hair. Hair is most vulnerable to breakage when (can you guess?) it is wet. Yes, after you wash it, when you are ripping that old brush through it like a mad woman trying to get ready for work on time! No! Please, use a wide tooth single row comb and starting at the bottom gently remove knots working your way up. It is the healthiest and fastest way (or us true professionals would not do it like that). Remember that these lessons are tools meant to be changed and re-worked to help you live your best life. Maya Angelou said when you know better you do better. So, keep learning new things and rearrange things as needed. Go through the steps seasonally; think of it as a style update! Not only will your hair flow, your life will too! Not only should this be fun, easy and seamlessly a part of your life, I hope it goes without saying that life is always changing, so you need to review update often, or as I like to say, “Rinse and repeat.” Thank goodness technology is constantly improving our hair styling tools. You would not use inferior tools on your hair, don’t you think your life plan deserves as much thought? I hope you enjoyed these hair lessons applied to life. If so, let me know and I will expand on the content. There is a lot I could still cover, but I hope this little intro was easy, fun and useful. |
