If you want the glossiest, bounciest most beautiful hair you need to treat it with TLC. You can not abuse it with daily blow outs, flat irons, chemicals and colour and expect it to look natural and healthy when it is anything but.
Take care of your hair by using gentle shampoos, a conditioner that doesn’t built up, and hair treatments. Masks, oils, and even leave in treatments will make a big difference in the health of your hair, and maybe even your sanity as you take some time for yourself. Plus, you feel better on good hair days, right?!
Now, stop and tell me honestly, do you take better care of your hair than you do your-self? Let’s change that. Step four is about indispensable luxuries.
Did you notice that is an oxy-moron? I intentionally used contradictory terms to hopefully help this stand out. There is a continuum between these two words, and no two people will be the same, however there is also the possibility of ignoring self care if you see it as a luxury, and I want to change that.
I want your self care rituals to increase, because burn out is a real thing, totally avoidable, and absolutely miserable. Like a perm. (Just kidding! But I bet we have all had at least one, so you get it.)
