With a little practice you will soon be able to do this s...ix step eye in under 10 minutes! I do this everyday and get compliments all the time. Great way to dress up a T-shirt! Every model or celebrity is doing this- look closely at the photos. Why not you to?
A mini 3 step paired down version is another option if you don't have 5 different eyeshadow colours, (or time to do all 5 colours). Notes of 'how to' do 3 colours are in photos by the star*.
If using 'brights' choose colours that transition well. Think of the rainbow fading from one colour to the next.
For example: yellow to peach to orange. Or, pink to purple to deep violet. Or teal to green to turquoise to blue to navy. Lay your colours out in a line and see if they progressively get darker and will blend well from one to the next so you can follow this 6 step tutorial.
If using 'nudes', metallic colours work extremely well. Go from nude to sand to gold to bronze to silver to gunmetal.
Or use 'matte natural' browns going darker with each shade for a very natural nude look. Add a inner rim brightener in nude to look fresh and awake!
*See photos below for detailed comments and step by step instructions for how to do a smokey eye. Always work from lightest color (1) to the darkest colour (6).
